I create fashion. I get inspired by things around me, things that fascinate me, things that happen to me. Common and daily things in another context. My context. My own importance as a concept for something wearable. For this collection I elaborate my last collection Vals Plat, that was about bicycling racing. This time I used one bicycle jersey as inspiration: the polka dot jersey. The polka dot is recognizable in different shapes, prints and forms. A lot of people around me are obsessed by the phenomenon bicycling racing. And though I rather sit on my 'granny bike', I felt the urge to do something with it.
